The Clash at CantrisGorgothius stood at the top of a watchtower overlooking the small defensive town of Cantris. Cantris he mused, stood cowering under the terrifying gaze of Avernias' tower. He and his silver watch had heard of a coming assault on the town, the invaders were after the spellbook of an aged arch-mage who died recently when a spell backfired, and his tower however, remained intact along with all his magical items. The spellbook Gorgothius knew though was the most prized possession of the lot and he had a feeling the wizard Mizzuth, which he had clashed with a few months back was the one after it, which meant the crimson banner would be alongside h The Clash at Cantris

As a child he was facinated with magic and read various books regarding the art and its mysteries therefore as he was older he was determined to travel to the city of Severntius to study magic at the Wizard Academy known as the Seven Towers.
